Not every online marketing campaign is a success story, but Key Real Estate’s e-mail program is shaping up to be a profitable endeavor, producing favorable first-time results.

When we took on Key Real Estate as a client, our goal was to create a clean, service-focused site that targets buyers and sellers in the New York real estate market. When the site was completed, we announced the launch via an e-mail targeting three specific but separate segments: industry professionals, real estate attorneys, and a list of current and past clients. While the message was essentially the same – introducing the Key Real Estate Web site – each of the e-mails was structured to include information relevant to their recipients, and offered whitepapers tailored to the broader interests of the groups.

The response we received from this initial campaign was overwhelming. The open rate across the three segments ranged from 26% to 38%, while the click-through rate reached an astounding 40%. Even better news is that the opt-out rate averaged 0.67% across the board, with the majority of the segmented e-mails experiencing no attrition. Since the launch of the Web site and the initial e-mail campaign, Key Real Estate has received numerous compliments on its site.

With such early success, Key Real Estate’s online marketing program looks promising!
