In 1981, Sarabeth’s Kitchen launched with humble beginnings in a small bakery-kitchen in New York City. Sarabeth and Bill Levine watched their business grow over the years into a chain of restaurants located in New York City and Key West, Florida, and a brand that's synonymous with quality. Available in specialty food stores, supermarkets, and online, Sarabeth’s Kitchen and Bakery is a household name. To continue their expansion, Visible Shops was brought on in August of 2007 to assist them in boosting their web-based sales.

From the onset, we focused on taking advantage of resources that previously were not being used at full capacity. The business had garnered a loyal following and thus a solid and responsive mailing list. Our first move was to ensure monthly newsletters with substantial promotional offers and other reasons for subscribers to open their mail. Now, on top of email marketing campaigns, we are continually enhancing their website, keeping track of web traffic, and analyzing what drives their sales.

Since working with us, Sarabeth’s Kitchen has experienced heightened sales and web traffic. On average, Sarabeth’s monthly website sales increased by 52%, compared to their sales before they worked with us. On an average monthly basis, the number of individual orders increased by 35%. We also increased their traffic from search engines overall by 20%, with particularly high increases from AOL at 79%, Live Search at 46%, and Ask at 30%.
